Red Stone - 2007

4”x4”x4” opens to 4”x4”x16”, boxed

Four panels (masonite & wood) hinged together to create an accordion. The sides and top of the panels are covered with paste paper. Text is handwritten across the top edge. The flat surfaces have ink jet digital photographic images and collages. On the negative side of the panels are the four stones; red white, black, and gold. The frames are covered in a brown Ogura paper and the indented squares are covered in a Japanese silver paper.
